Ryan Sullivan went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the Nashua Silver Knights (21-18) to a 7-4 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (17-20) on Thursday at Holman Stadium.
He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth innings.
Joe McCarthy brought the heat against the Pittsfield Suns during his outing. McCarthy held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.
Hunter Bross racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Pittsfield Suns. He homered in the second inning.
Kevin Veilleux improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed four runs over four innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered six hits.
River Carbone (1-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked one and struck out one.
