OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 30, 2014 - Oklahoma City Thunder forwards Grant Jerrett and Mitch McGary combined for 19 points and nine rebounds while on assignment with the Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday. The Blue fell to the Austin Spurs, 98-90, at the COX Convention Center.

McGary scored 10 points alongside five rebounds and one steal in 17 minutes and Jerrett recorded nine points, four boards and one block in 25 minutes.

Six Blue players scored in double figures behind Mario Little's team-high 15 points. Marquis Teague picked up 13 points, five assists and three rebounds and Michael Jenkins collected 11 points, five rebounds and four assists. Talib Zanna secured his fifth-straight double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

"I think our team is getting better in areas that we're focusing on," said Blue Head Coach Daigneault. "Getting better at ball movement, getting better at defensive positioning. We're making progress at things we're putting a lot of time into at practice. We obviously would've liked to come out with a win, but we're continuing to move forward which is a pretty good thing."

After trailing the Spurs 55-43 at halftime, the Blue outscored Austin 28-21 in the third quarter to enter the final frame down by five. The Spurs built a 10 point lead in the fourth and although OKC came within six points with 25 seconds remaining, it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

Austin (2-3) was led by Bryce Cotton with 22 points and eight rebounds.

The Blue (2-3) is returns to the hardwood Monday night when it hosts the Bakersfield Jam at the COX Convention Center. For ticket information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
