FORT WAYNE, Ind., Jan. 1, 2015 - The Oklahoma City Blue fought back in the final minute but fell short by milliseconds to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 100-99, on Thursday at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Trailing 98-91 with 50 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Oklahoma City scored eight unanswered points to take a 99-98 lead with 12.1 seconds to play. The Blue's run was highlighted with a steal by Semaj Christon off of a full-court trap that led to his go-ahead layup.

Fort Wayne retook the lead after CJ Fair was fouled down low and sunk both free throws. With 3.9 seconds to work with, Marquis Teague drove to the hoop and threw a lob pass for Richard Solomon, who dunked it in as the clock expired. After initially calling the bucket good, the officials reviewed the play and deemed that the ball had not left Solomon's hands when the final buzzer sounded.

Oklahoma City started the game by outscoring Fort Wayne 26-17 in the opening quarter. The Mad Ants narrowed the Blue's lead heading into halftime with OKC up 50-47. Fort Wayne took the lead midway through the fourth quarter and built its way up to a seven point advantage.

The Blue lineup featured five players in double figures, led by Christon's 29 points and nine rebounds. Talib Zanna recorded his 10th double-double of the season with 12 points and 16 rebounds, marking his fourth game of over 15 boards.

Off the bench, Teague scored 18 points, Solomon posted 14 points and eight rebounds and Reggie Williams added 11 points.

Oklahoma City (7-9) outrebounded the Mad Ants 54-40.

Fort Wayne (9-10) was led by Ramon Harris with 22 points and five rebounds.

The Blue continues its five-game road trip by taking on the Texas Legends in Frisco, Texas on Saturday at 7 p.m. For more information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
