WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, 134-120, in Game 1 of the NBA G League Finals, presented by YouTube TV. Delaware takes a 1-0 series lead in the best-of-three championship series and heads to Edinburg, Texas for Game 2 at Bert Ogden Arena on Thursday, April 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Jaden Springer scored a game-high 43 points including 5-8 shooting from three-point range and pulled down nine rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots. Mac McClung dropped 35 points and had seven assists. Charlie Brown Jr. (17 points, 15 rebounds) and Michael Foster Jr. (12 points, 13 rebounds) both had double-doubles for the Blue Coats.
TyTy Washington, Jr. led Rio Grande Valley with 34 points. Jalen Lecque scored 21 off the bench for the Vipers.
