
Golden State Warriors Two-Way Guard Lester Quinones Named 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Golden State Warriors Two-Way guard Lester Quinones has been named the 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player, the NBA G League announced today. The award, which honors the player who demonstrated the most significant improvement during the season, was voted on by NBA G League head coaches and general managers.
Quinones appeared in 31 games (all starts) for the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2022-23 season, averaging 21.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 32.0 minutes per game.
"The growth and development from Lester this year was amazing to see", said Santa Cruz Warriors General Manager David Fatoki. "He was a consistent force for our team this season and kept getting better every day."
Quinones was named NBA G League Player of the Week twice this season for games played from February 13 to February 26 and March 13 to March 19. After earning a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors on March 2, he signed a Two-Way contract with Golden State on March 17.
Quinones will be presented with the award ahead of the Golden State Warriors versus Oklahoma City Thunder game on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:00pm (PT) at Chase Center in San Francisco, CA.
