Blue Bounces Back with Win over Stampede

Oklahoma City was led by Marquis Teague with 21 points and six rebounds and Reggie Williams with 20 points and nine boards. Maurice Sutton scored 14 points to go with 13 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

Semaj Christon scored 15 while Josh Huestis added 11 points.

After falling to the Stampede 102-96 on Tuesday night, Oklahoma City built an early 12-point lead and held a 45-37 advantage after one half. The Stampede outscored the Blue 26-23 in the third before using a fourth-quarter run to take a 76-75 lead with 7:08 to play.

Idaho led by as many as four in the final frame, but Oklahoma City outscored the Stampede 13-2 to lead 90-83 with just over a minute remaining. The Blue shot 9-for-10 from the foul line in the final 41 seconds to hold off Idaho and clinch the win. Christon tallied 10 fourth-quarter points.

The Blue (9-10) controlled the glass all night, outrebounding the Stampede 61-33. Xavier Alexander led OKC with 16 boards.

Idaho (4-16) was paced by 20 points and 13 rebounds from Jerelle Benimon.
