WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club is pleased to announce that it is teaming-up with the Canad Inns hotel chain to operate the Blue and Gold Room at Canad Inns Stadium.

The agreement will see Canad Inns provide complete food and beverage services for Bomber home games and all other events at the Blue and Gold Room. Both Canad Inns and the Blue Bombers will book events in the facility.

"Canad Inns is proud to be involved with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Blue Bomber Football Club and we are committed to being a good corporate sponsor and partner," said Leo Ledohowski, president and CEO of Canad Inns.

"When we entered into the naming rights agreement for Canad Inns Stadium in 2001, we talked about the proud tradition the Bombers have both in Winnipeg and Manitoba and the strong sense of community we both share. We are thrilled to continue to build on that sense of community and partnership and look forward to our continued relationship with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club, including Lyle Bauer and the entire Blue Bomber staff."

Blue Bombers President and CEO Lyle Bauer said the agreement is a win-win deal for both organizations.

"We are pleased to continue our relationship with Canad Inns and believe this agreement will be beneficial for both parties," Bauer said.

"Canad Inns and Leo Ledohowski have been great partners since the onset of the relationship. They are not only great business partners, they are also great corporate citizens."
