WINNIPEG, MB â The Blue Bombers welcome non-import safety John Sullivan and offensive lineman Kendrick Rogers.
JOHN SULLIVAN ~ BIO
THE COLLEGE YEARS â WATERLOO WARRIORS
Sullivan finished the 2004 CIS season second in defensive stats and was named to the 2nd team All-Canadian Team.
In 2004 Sullivan played in seven games and had 56 solo tackles and four sacks.
Sullivan was drafted by the Blue & Gold in 2004 in the Canadian College Draft but went back to Waterloo for another year.
Sullivan was a co-winner of the Totzke Trophy, symbolic of the University of Waterloo's Male Athlete of the Year. His is a two-time team Most Valuable Player and a two-time Ontario Universities Association First-Team All-Star.
A finalist for the President's Trophy, Sullivan was the OUA's Defensive Player of the Year in 2003.
KENDRICK ROGERS ~ BIO
NFL YEARS
Rogers was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001 as a free agent and spent the season on their practice roster. In 2002 he was released by the Eagles and then signed as a free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. He was then released by the Cardinals in 2004.
COLLEGE YEARS
Rogers played college football for Alabama A&M where he began at defensive end but was moved to left offensive tackle. He was a team captain and a two-time first team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference selection.
