Blue Bombers Sell-Out Seventh Game in a Row

WINNIPEG, MB - On a night where the club will surpass its all time record for single-season attendance, the Winnipeg Football Club is proud to announce that for the seventh consecutive home game and for the final regular season game ever to be played at Canad Inns Stadium, the game is sold out.

This marks the longest streak of consecutive sellouts in 58 years, since the stadium first opened in 1953.

The Blue Bombers will surpass the club record for single-season attendance tonight with every fan over 16,545 to enter Canad Inns Stadium. This will also be the first year in club history to surpass the 260,000 mark in attendance in one season. The Bombers have averaged 29,532 fans per game this season which is almost 800 more than the previous record of 28,739 set in 1985.

The football club would like to remind fans that playoff tickets will be on sale beginning tomorrow for season ticket and Pick 10 holders and can be purchased by calling 1-855-Bombers or logging on to www.ticketmaster.ca . Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. Current season ticket holders already have their playoff seats as these were included in the season ticket package for 2011. The Blue Bombers will host either the East Semi-Final on November 13 or the East Final on November 20.
