WINNIPEG, MB â The following is a list of community events the Winnipeg Blue Bomber players, coaches, staff, alumni, mascots and dance team members will be attending during the next few weeks:
JANUARY 19 â BUZZ & BOOMER will be two of the mascots appearing at the Winter Fun Kickoff Weekend for the 2003 Assiniboine Credit Union River Trail â an annual winter program that encourages the enjoyment of Winnipeg's winter and its river system.
JANUARY 23 â MOE ELEWONIBI & WADE MILLER are two of the celebrity servers in the First Annual Delta Winnipeg Celebrity Tip-Off in support of Special Olympics Manitoba. The duo will collect tips from people attending the dinner with any proceeds they collect going to Special Olympics.
FEBRUARY 1 â The marvelous mascots BUZZ & BOOMER will be up to their usual hi-jinks at the Lockport Children's Festival from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
FEBRUARY 2-4 â Auditions for the 2003 edition of the BLUE LIGHTNING DANCE TEAM take place at Canad Inns Polo Park & the Winnipeg Football Club office. FEBRUARY 8 â BUZZ & BOOMER will excite and delight all the people participating in the Glenwood Community Centre's Winter Carnival.
