Blowfish to Host 2015 Dixie Youth World Series Opening Ceremonies

Lexington County, SC-the Lexington County Blowfish Baseball Club in cooperation with the Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission will host the 2015 Dixie Youth World Series Opening Ceremonies Friday August 7th at the New Lexington County Baseball Stadium.
The Lexington Sports Complex will host three baseball series-for 8 and 9 year olds, 9 and 10 year olds and for 11 and 12year olds-which include teams from 11 states ranging from Florida to Texas to Virginia.
This will be the second consecutive year Lexington will host this event. Thousands of baseball players and their families and fans will converge into Lexington County during the week of August 7-13th.
At tonight's game three teams which will represent lexington are in attendance and being announced on the field.
AAA Minors Host Team/Lexington
Majors Host Team/Lexington
Ozone Host Team/ Lexington.
The Opening Ceremonies will include 36 teams from 11 states and will include a Home Run Derby and Fireworks show presented in part by the Blowfish and Holiday Inn Express in Lexington.
