The Bloomington PrairieThunder wrap-up their four game home stand Friday and Saturday night when they host the Dayton Gems and Wichita Thunder. Bloomington (12-6-1) is tied for third in the CHL's Turner (Northern) Conference. The PrairieThunder has won four in a row and six of their last eight.
And before the Central Hockey League's Christmas Break, the PrairieThunder play a home and home series next Tuesday and Wednesday, December 21st & 22nd. On Tuesday night, the PThunder will be in the Memphis, Tennessee suburb of Southaven, Mississippi to face the Memphis RiverKings for the first time this year. And on Wednesday night, both teams will be in the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.

This Saturday, December 18th, members of the PrairieThunder organization and our Mascot Chip will be participating in this year's Bloomington-Normal Jaycees Christmas Parade which begins at 10am at Kingsley Junior High School in Normal.....On Sunday, December 19th, the PrairieThunder's Kids Club will have their "Kick-Off Party" from 2-4pm at the Children's Discovery Museum in uptown Normal. Kids Club members will be able to meet members of the PrairieThunder team and participate in a scavenger hunt. Anyone interested in joining the PrairieThunder's Kids Club is invited to attend the kick-off on Sunday.....And on Sunday, December 19th, Head Coach Jason Christie will serve as a "Guest Conductor" with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops Spectacular which gets underway at 3pm at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts.
