Blizzard Welcome Back Two Offensive Weapons

Offensive lineman AJ Wilson has re-signed with Green Bay. An Aurora native, Wilson stayed in his home state to play collegiate football at Colorado State University @ Pueblo. He signed with the Blizzard midway through the 2022 season and appeared in nine games as the starting center. Wilson was recognized alongside his OL teammates as the Week 15 Players of the Game.

Steve Newbold has re-signed with the Green Bay Blizzard for his second year in the IFL. Hailing from Carol City, Florida, Newbold played collegiate football at Tennessee State University, where he earned numerous honors and finished as a top-10 receiver in program history. Newbold played in all 16 games for the Blizzard last season at multiple positions, notching 416 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches, one rushing touchdown, 496 total return yards, and eight tackles on special teams. He was also recognized as the Week 8 Player of the Game.
