Blizzard to Face Slaughter in Playoffs

Green Bay, Wis. - The Green Bay Blizzard just clinched the Central North Division Championship in their first year in the Indoor Football League, now it is time for the playoffs. The Indoor Football League has announced the pairings for the first round of the playoffs.

The Green Bay Blizzard (10-4) will take on the Chicago Slaughter (6-8) on Saturday June 26 on the Online Trading Academy Field in the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. Kickoff is set for 7:05 P.M. The Green Bay -Chicago rivalry will intensify since this will be the fourth time the Blizzard and Slaughter face off this season. The most recent game came on June 19 when the Blizzard beat the Slaughter 55-30 and clinched the Division.

"Even though the playoffs are four rounds, you need to take it one game at a time. This weekend's game is the most important. I hope all of our fans come out to cheer as loud as they did all season long," said Blizzard head coach Rik Richards.

Tickets for the game went on sale today, June 21 at 11:00 A.M. ALL TICKETS FOR THE PLAYOFF GAME ARE ONLY $7.00. The Bud Light Party Pit will remain at $25.00.
