
Venom Playoff Game to be Nationally Televised

Amarillo, TX 6/21/10 - The Venom are proud to announce their first playoff game Monday June 28th will be nationally broadcast on all regional sports networks with Direct TV and Dish Network.
This is the first time Amarillo has hosted a playoff team since the Dusters in 2004. The Venom are undefeated at home and are fueled to bring an IFL Championship to Amarillo. This is the first time an Indoor Football League game has been nationally broadcast in Amarillo.
The game will be blacked out in the Amarillo area so the only way to see the game is to be there. "We need to show the nation the greatest football fans are in the Panhandle by packing the Civic Center," stated Venom General Manager Joe Morgado.
"We are excited to have this opportunity to host a nationally televised playoff game," commented Venom General Manager Joe Morgado, "We could not do this without the support of our community."
The Venom hold the number two seed and with home field advantage they will take on the West Texas Roughnecks June 28th at 7:05PM in the Amarillo Civic Center to gain a second playoff tilt.
The Venom are offering a special playoff package of four end zone or corner seats and four 2010 Venom playoff shirts for $72 or get 10 tickets for $120. For more details or questions call 350-PASS (7277).
