Blizzard Sign Running Back Jayln Cagle

Jayln Cagle (6' 0", 200 lbs.) will enter Blizzard training camp after a four-year collegiate career at Gardner-Webb University, a Division I FCS program located in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.
Jayln, a native of Salisbury, NC, appeared in 43 games for the Runnin' Bulldogs from 2016-2019, totaling 2,531 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns. His senior year proved to be his most productive statistically, rushing for 930 yards and eight touchdowns while hauling in 31 receptions for 229 yards and two touchdowns. In fact, Jayln was named the Week 7 Offensive Player of the Week in the Big South Conference in 2019, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Western Carolina. At the season's end, Cagle was recognized as a Second Team All-Big South Conference Running Back.
