Green Bay Blizzard News Release
The Green Bay Blizzard (5-1) moved to #3 in this week's af2 Coaches Poll after extending their winning streak to 4 straight with a lopsided win over the Louisville Fire 65-49. The Blizzard jumped over both Louisville and previously #1 rated Florida, and trail only the Manchester Wolves and the Memphis Xplorers. The Blizzard plays at home again this Saturday against the Quad City Steamwheelers @ 7:00pm.

First-year Blizzard DS Ryan Bowers has been named the ADT Defensive Player of the Week by the af2 league office. Bowers (6-1, 210 Presbyterian College), helped the Green Bay Blizzard defeat the Louisville Fire 65-49 Saturday night at the Resch Center. Bowers recorded 8.5 tackles and had 2 interceptions.
Saturday, May 21st Green Bay Blizzard vs. Quad City Steamwheelers. Ladies Night, sponsored by St. Mary's Hospital's "A Woman's Place". The first 1,000 woman 18 years and over will receive a Green & White Blizzard Feather Boa.
