Blitz OS Rennard Reynolds and OL/DL Dwayne Parker-Draughon on Coach's Corner

BAKERSFIELD - Bakersfield Blitz OS, Rennard Reynolds and OL/DL, Dwayne Parker-Draughon will be a guest on the weekly broadcast of "The Coach's Corner" on Friday, June 9 at 9:30 a.m. "The Coach's Corner" is on The KRAB Radio Morning Show with Meathead, Desi, and Rocky Nash, Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

OS Rennard Reynolds is ranked in the af2's top 10 for scoring and reception touchdowns. Reynolds is ranked number eight in scoring with a total of 132 points and averaging 14.7 points per game. For reception touchdowns, Reynolds is ranked number six with a total of 21 touchdowns. In last Saturday's game against the Amarillo Dusters, Reynolds helped lead the Blitz to a 40-39 victory with 3 receptions for 44 yards and 1 touchdown.

OL/DL Dwayne Parker-Draughon is part of the Blitz defense, which is currently ranked number one in the af2 allowing no more than an average of 200 yards per game.

Parker, Reynolds and the rest of the Blitz team will be traveling to Huntsville, Alabama to take on the Tennessee Valley Vipers on Saturday, June 10. Kick off is set for 5:30 p.m. (PST) at the Von Braun Center. The Blitz have an overall record of 6-3 and rank second place in the National West Division. The Vipers have an overall record of 2-7 and sit at fifth place in the American South Division.

Desi Batista from the KRAB Radio Morning Show knows first hand what the Blitz defense feels like for opponents. The KRAB Radio Morning Show gang, which includes Meathead, Desi, and Rocky Nash, joined the Blitz team at practice on Tuesday, May 30. During a kickoff return, Desi was tackled by several Blitz players.
