Tuesday, January 9, 2018 vs. Spokane 2-1 Win: Goaltender Dylan Ferguson stole the show with 47 saves to help the Blazers to a 2-1 victory over the Spokane Chiefs. Quinn Benjafield and Luc Smith each scored goals for the Blazers in the win. Riley Woods was the lone goal scorer for the Chiefs. Click here for Highlights & Recap.
Friday, January 12, 2018 at Victoria 6-5 Loss: The Blazers scored plenty of goals, but it wasn't enough in a 6-5 loss in Victoria. Jermaine Loewen had two goals and an assist, while Orrin Centazzo, Carson Denomie and Luc Smith had goals. Joe Gatenby had two assists for the Blazers and Dante Hannoun scored twice for the Royals. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Victoria 5-4 Loss: The Blazers built up a 3-0 first period lead, but saw it fade away in a 5-4 loss in Victoria to close out the week. Jermaine Loewen, Joe Gatenby, Brodi Stuart and Luc Smith had the goals for the Blazers. Dante Hannoun scored twice for the Royals including the winning goal in the final four minutes of the game. Dylan Ferguson had the loss with 23 saves.
