
Blazers to Host Military Appreciation Night

The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting military appreciation night Friday November 9th vs. the Everett Silvertips. There will be an elaborate pregame ceremony, honoring veterans, and other local military organizations. The Rocky Mountain Rangers will be putting on a repelling demonstration in the midst of the ceremonial festivities.
The players will also be wearing special jerseys in commemoration of our veterans and armed forces. After the game, these jerseys will be put up for online auction.

4 Game Win Streaks Ends At The Hands of Brandon & Vancouver
It was a battle of two goaltenders on Friday night with Jiri Patera and the Brandon Wheat Kings coming out with a 3-2 overtime win over Dylan Ferguson and the Kamloops Blazers.
Zane Franklin and Luke Zazula had the goals for the Blazers who got 38 saves from Ferguson on the night.
The Blazers will finish the weekend with a game in Langley against the Vancouver Giants on Saturday night.

Lajoie brings decorated U SPORTS resume to Kamloops
Serge Lajoie is back where his junior hockey journey started, before the great Kamloops dynasty years in the early and mid-90's.
Lajoie, who enjoyed a brief cup of coffee as a Blazer during the 1986-87 season, became the newest head coach of the well-known franchise this past June after years of consistent success on the ice and behind the bench with the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
