Kamloops Blazers News Release
Kamloops, BC - General Manager and Head Coach Shaun Clouston announced today that the hockey club has signed 2004-born forward Nathan MacPherson-Ridgewell to a standard WHL player agreement.
MacPherson-Ridgewell was listed by the Blazers in March 2020. The 6'0" and 170lb forward from Delta, BC played the 2020-2021 season with the Delta U18 Prep team and had a goal and an assist in four games last season.
"Nathan has made good strides in his game," commented Director of Player Personnel, Robbie Sandland. "From the start of camp, he has continued to get better every day. He plays a heavy, straight line game and has great energy. He is consistently in the fabric of the game and he is not easy to play against," continued Sandland. "We are excited to welcome Nathan and his family to the Blazers organization."
MacPherson-Ridgewell will make his WHL preseason debut as the Blazers host Prince George at 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
