Blazers Add Defenseman Ethan Brandwood to Roster for the Weekend

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have added 16-year-old defenseman Ethan Brandwood to the roster for the weekend. Brandwood was a seventh round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Victoria, BC native plays with the South Island Royals of the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League and has five goals, 13 assists and 18 points in 25 games.

Brandwood made his WHL debut earlier this month suiting up for a game in Vancouver on January 12th.

The Blazers host two home games this weekend as the Spokane Chiefs are in town tonight and the Victoria Royals will play at the Sandman Centre Saturday night. The weekend will conclude with a 5:05pm game in Seattle on Sunday.
