Blaze Relieve Cooper Of Coaching Duties
April 1, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Utah Blaze News Release
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze announce today that Defensive Backs Coach Hunkie Cooper has been released from his coaching responsibilities.
"This was a mutual agreement based on our immediate need to get more out of the players we have under the current circumstances," said Blaze head coach/general manager DANNY WHITE. "This decision is not necessarily a reflection of Hunkie's coaching ability. Rather, it is different approach and an effort to move in another direction based on the outcome of our inconsistent performance on the defensive side of the ball."
