Baltimore Players to Watch:
Vini Dantas, last year's Championship MVP, got off to another fast start in the playoffs this year. Dantas and Daniel Peruzzi each scored 2 goals in Game One of the Eastern Division Finals. Andrew Hoxie, Jereme Raley, and Jonatas Melo each recorded a goal as well. Jamie Thomas, Jonathan Greenfield, and Tony Donatelli each had an assist in the game.
Pat Healey, a 2-time Defender of the Year, led the Blast defense with 6 blocked shots in Game One. Jonatas Melo and Adriano Dos Santos had 3 blocked shots each. Blast goalkeeper Joey Kapinos stopped 15 of 21 shots in the win.
The Competition- Syracuse Silver Knights
Bo Jelovac led the Silver Knights offense with two goals and one assist in Game One. Domenico Vitale, Darren Toby, Jake Schindler, and Kenardo Forbes each added a goal. Joey Tavernese and Nate Bordeau recorded an assist in the game. Domenico Vitale blocked four shots and Darren Toby had three blocked shots to lead Syracuse's defense. Andrew Coughlin made 8 saves in the game.
