Blast announces 2004-05 TV schedule

Baltimore – The two-time MISL defending champion Baltimore Blast announced today that the team has reached an agreement to broadcast 15 tape-delayed Blast games on Comcast SportsNet. The first of the 15 games will air this Thursday night, October 21 at 8 p.m. Comcast SportsNet, the premiere channel for local sports, is available throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area on most Cable providers.

The Blast (1-1) has a bye this weekend, then will travel to St. Louis the following weekend for an October 29 match against the Steamers. The team will return to 1st Mariner Arena on Friday, November 5 to host the Philadelphia KiXX. Baltimore defeated the San Diego Sockers, 5-3, on October 16 in the team's home opener of the 2004-05 season. Following the victory, the Blast swept the MISL's Player of the Week honors, with Sagu earning Goalkeeper of the Week, Giuliano Celenza claiming Offensive Player of the Week and Neil Gilbert being recognized as the League's Defender of the Week.
