(SAN DIEGO, Calif.) –Juli Veee, ChaCha Namdar and Waad Hirmez are just some of the marquee names from the Sockers past playing in a halftime exhibition match at the Sockers game on Friday, Oct. 22 against the Kansas City Comets. Sockers legends will face-off to delight fans new and old and will be available after the game for an autograph session.

“All the guys are excited to be part of Legends Night,” said Veee. “We’ve all been training on the side. Don’t expect a bunch of slow, old guys. We’re gonna be fast – as fast as a freight train with no brakes.”

That evening, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a piece of Sockers history. The Sockers will unveil their Sockers Legends Ball, featuring more than 30 full-color photos from 1979-2004 and highlights great moments in the Sockers legacy. In addition, the jerseys worn by the Legends during their halftime game will be auctioned off during the game.

As part of Legends Night, the Sockers will team up with Looks Like Me, a San Diego-based organization that provides free hairpieces to local children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatments or other medical issues.
