(SAN DIEGO, Calif.) Â The San Diego Sockers, 2-5, host the Kansas City Comets this Sunday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. at the Sports Arena. It's a Super Sockers Sunday with $1 hot dogs on sale all night long. The Sockers Kids Fun Zone will be open at the South Entrance starting at 2 p.m. with Xboxes, inflatables, face painting and more for kids to enjoy. Halftime features a tug of war contest with turkeys being donated to the winning team's favorite charity. San Diego returns home after playing in back-to-back road games in St. Louis and Philadelphia. The Sockers are 2-2 at home and have outscored their opponents 22-15 with the home crowd behind them. Steve Butcher and Mark Ughy lead the team with 11 points each while Sean Bowers leads the defense with 12 blocks.
Kansas City, 1-1, is playing in their first game since Nov. 6. The Comets suffered their first loss of the season to the Milwaukee Wave, 7-5. Dino Delevski leads the Comets with two goals and three assists for five points. Jeff Davis leads the defense with three blocks.
