Philadelphia Welcomes K-9s In Flight on November 20

Philadelphia, PA, November 16, 2004 â The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the club has scheduled John Misita and his K-9s In Flight âAll-America' Frisbee Dogs for a halftime show, courtesy of Jake's Dog House, this Saturday, November 20 when the team squares-off versus the Monterrey Fury. Game-time at the Wachovia Spectrum is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET.
With over 10 years of professional experience, Misita and K-9s In Flight have dazzled audiences all across America and beyond. The show has been seen on Animal Planet, The Discovery Channel, HBO, Jerry Lewis Telethon, MTV Music Television, The Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2 and more. They have also had featured articles in Dog Fancy magazine, National Geographic for Kids, Dog and Kennel magazine, and over 20 major national newspapers.
Misita and his incredible dogs have also won many major individual championships including four United States Regional Championships, an 'Incredible Dog Challenge' Regional and National Championship, and have competed in six World Championships. K-9s in Flight is the first and only Frisbee Dog Team to perform with Ringling Brothers' 'Greatest Show On Earthâ¢', on a two-year, 90-city tour. They have also traveled and performed with the PDC 'Incredible Dog Teamâ¢' and the 'NFL Experienceâ¢'.
