
Blast amends 2004-05 television schedule

Baltimore Blast News Release
Baltimore â The two-time MISL defending champion Baltimore Blast announced today that the team has changed the television schedule announced earlier this month. Tomorrow night's game against the Chicago Storm will not be aired as originally planned. The next game will air Tuesday, December 14 at 8 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. CSN, the premiere channel for local sports, is available throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area on most Cable providers.

Baltimore's October 16th home opener against the San Diego Sockers was televised on October 21 on Comcast SportsNet. The Blast originally planned to air 15 tape-delayed games but had to amend the TV schedule due to scheduling conflicts. The team now plans to air five more games on a tape-delay basis this season, with the remaining four games to be announced soon.
The Blast (2-3) will host the Milwaukee Wave and Chicago Storm this weekend. Tonight's game against the Wave will be a rematch of the 2004 MISL Championships, which the Blast won three-games-to-none. The Blast also defeated the Wave, two-games-to-one to win the 2003 MISL Championship. The Chicago Storm, an expansion team, will be making its first trip to Baltimore on Saturday night. The Blast is 18-5 against expansion teams since the 1992-93 season. Tomorrow night is replica jersey t-shirt night and the first 2,000 fans 13 and under who enter 1st Mariner Arena will receive a free t-shirt.
