Force looks to catch a Wave

CLEVELAND, OHIO - - The Cleveland Force will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the first time this season to face the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Central Division Milwaukee Wave at the U.S. Cellular Arena.

The action can be heard live on WHK 1420 AM or WHKW 1440 AM in Warren/Youngstown or live worldwide on the Internet at www.thesportsking.com. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. EST

Cleveland comes into the game after posting a 9-5 come from behind victory over the Chicago Storm last Saturday. Force defender and team captain John Ball led all scorers with his first two goals of the season and assist for three points. Ball was credited with the game-winning goal on a restart in the fourth quarter and is now the team leader in points with six. Forward Chris Handsor, who has scored in every game this season, notched his team leading fifth goal of the campaign. Midfielder Gary DePalma scored his first goal for the Force while defenders Fred DeGand and Josh Timbers along with midfielder Adam Campellone all picked up their first points of the season.

Milwaukee will be led by players with Cleveland soccer ties. Forward Michael King recorded his first hat trick of the season in the Wave's 7-5 win against Kansas City last weekend. King is tied for the tem lead in goals with five along with defender Troy Dusosky. Troy leads the Wave and is tied for second in the MISL in points with eight.

Milwaukee won the season series 3 games to 1 last year and won both games in Milwaukee. The Wave also boasts a 17-5 all-time advantage in Milwaukee over Cleveland teams.
