Blades to battle Tigers

Last evening the Saskatoon Blades defeated the Regina Pats by a score of 5-1 at the Regina Brandt Centre to win the series 4-2. With the win the Blades move on to the second round to face the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. The series kicks off this weekend, Friday and Saturday at the Medicine Hat Arena. The series switches back to Credit Union Centre Tuesday and Wednesday April 11th and 12th respectively for games #3 & #4. A complete series schedule is listed below**. Tickets for both games are currently for sale all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 938.7800 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca.

The Saskatoon Blades will once again be putting together a fan bus for the first two games in Medicine Hat. Interested fans are encouraged to call the Blades administration for additional information. The bus will sell-out! Call 306.975.8844.

As the Saskatoon Blades turn to the 7th Man for support during home play-off games, the club has partnered with 1-800-Got Junk, We Care Home Health Services, The Man Show, Mac's Convenience Stores and Vern's Pizza to present a FREE 7th Man Rally Rag to the first 5000 through the doors on Tuesday April 11th for game #3. Fans will be encouraged to be loud and proud as the clubs MVP, the 7th Player!
