
'Blades team up with Red Cross to help tsunami victims

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, the organization will be collecting funds to aid those affected by the recent tsunami in SE Asia.
The Everblades will have collection jars at all entrances and placed conveniently throughout the arena during Friday and Saturday night's games vs. the Charlotte Checkers. Only monetary donations will be collected by the Red Cross, and all donations will go directly to the Tsunami Relief Fund. The Florida Everblades organization relies on the support of their fans throughout SW FL, and knows they will be able to count on them to help fund the relief effort for the tsunami victims in SE Asia.
The Florida Everblades return to action this weekend when they host the Charlotte Checkers for a pair of games at Germain Arena. The 'Blades and Checkers face-off on Friday, December 31 and Saturday, January 1, both games begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for both games.
