Blades Host Canes; Credit Union Centre 25th Anniversary Celebration

The biggest Saskatoon Blades game of the season has arrived as the Lethbridge Hurricanes are in town tomorrow night!

The Blades and the Credit Union Centre are very proud to present the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Credit Union Centre.

It's exactly 25 years to the day that the building opened it's doors, as the Blades hosted the Brandon Wheat Kings on February 9th, 1988. To celebrate the big occasion, some major things are planned to help celebrate the night:

- The 50/50 pot starts at $25,000!

- $250,000 Shootout - 1 lucky fan will get a chance to win $250,000!

- Tickets for kids 12 and under are only $2.50 plus fees

- Special Group rate discount is available for groups of 25 or more

- $2.50 Hot Dog and Drink special

- 2 'win the jersey off our back' giveaways

- An autographed Wendel Clark Blades jersey will be raffled

There is also a ton more going on, including the fact that the Blades are looking to set an attendance record at the game. Over 7,500 tickets are already sold for the game as the 23 year old record stands at over 12,000 fans. Be there for the historic night!
