
'Blades Add Defenseman Kevin Hart for 2014-15 Season

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Thursday that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Kevin Hart for the 2014-15 season. (Above photo courtesy of Providence College Athletics)
Hart, 22, joins the Everblades after posting nine points (3g, 6a), with a +2 rating and 28 penalty minutes in 38 games played with Providence College last season. The 6-1, 195-pound blue-liner totaled 34 points (8g, 26a) during his four-year collegiate career with the Friars from 2010-2014.
"Kevin was a solid 2-way defenseman at Providence College," said Everblades Head Coach Greg Poss. "We expect big things from him during his first professional season."
The Cumberland, Maine native joins forward Mitch Wahl and defenseman Mike Little as players who have agreed to terms with the Everblades for the upcoming season.
The Everblades open the 2014-15 season on Friday, October 17 against the South Carolina Stingrays.
