Blackhawks Recall Igor Radulov

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forwards Igor Radulov from Norfolk of the American Hockey League.
Radulov, 20, in his first professional season has also appeared in 62 games for the Norfolk Admirals scoring 18 goals while adding nine assists for 27 points with 26 penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of +1. Of his 18 goals, four were on the power play and four were game winners.
Radulov has also appeared in five games scoring four goals for the Blackhawks this season. He made his NHL debut against the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 23 and scored his first NHL goals the very next game against the New York Islanders on March 25. Against the Islanders, he netted his first and second NHL goals in a span of only 13 seconds, only two players in NHL history have scored their first two goals in a shorter time span between tallies while matching the third player (Joe Mullen :08 on 1/5/82 STL vs. MIN, Pierre Jarry :08 on 11/21/71 NYR vs. CAL and Dan McCarthy :13 on 11/1/80 NYR vs. MTL). Radulov has also notched two power play goals for the Hawks this season.
Radulov was the Blackhawks' 3rd round pick (74th overall) in the 2000 NHL entry draft out of Yaroslavl in Russia. Last season, Radulov played for Mississauga in the Ontario Hockey League appearing in 62 games scoring 33 goals and adding 30 assists for 63 points with 30 penalty minutes.
