
Blacker Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that defenseman Jesse Blacker has been named the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 28th, 2010.
Blacker, a nineteen year old defenseman notched a goal and an assist in Owen Sound 4-3 Shootout loss to the Sarnia Sting last Wednesday. The Toronto, ON. native picked right up where he left off on Saturday night against Sudbury when he buried one goal and added three assists en route to being named the games third star.
Overall, Blacker finished the weekend with two goals and three assists in three games played. The Toronto Maple Leafs Draft pick currently sits fourth in OHL scoring among defenseman with six goals and fourteen assists.
The Attack is back in action on home ice this Wednesday, December 1st vs. London when the Attack and Owen Sound Fire Department present the first ever Toonies and Toys Night. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a cash donation that will be used to purchase gifts for local families in need.
