Bisons Schedule Hits Full Stride with 8-Game Homestand Starting Friday

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will return home to Coca-Cola Field on Friday, May 8 for an eight-game homestand as the 2009 season and promotional schedule hits full stride.

This Friday marks the beginning of eight consecutive home games for the Bisons, May 8-15. Included in this stretch of games against the Norfolk Tides and the Gwinnett Braves are two fridaynightbash!® games, sponsored by Seneca Gaming Corporation on May 8th and 15th. The homestand will also feature Mother's Day at the Ballpark, the team wearing Purple Hats to support the American Cancer Society and the rescheduled FREE Food Night on Wednesday, May 13.

Norfolk Series (May 8-11)

Friday, May 8 @ 7:05 p.m. (Pre-Game Plaza Party, 5:00 p.m.)

-A fridaynightbash!®, presented by Seneca Gaming Corporation, is the best night of the week and a weekend tradition in Western New York.

-Pre-Game Plaza Party begins at 5:00 p.m. with live music from the band, Tom Stahl & The Dangerfields (Rock covers).

-Plaza Party to feature $3 specials on hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian Sausage and 12 oz. beers.

-STOP DWI Night, presented by GTSC, with DWI Simulator and police vehicles in the concourse.

-MDA Night

-Post-Game Fireworks Show will light up the Buffalo sky.

Saturday, May 9 @ 1:05 p.m. (Gates 12:00 p.m.)

-High School Saturday, presented by Niagara University. High School students can purchase two tickets for only $12 when they present a valid high school ID.

-Time Warner Cable Customer Appreciation Day with ThunderStix Giveaway

Sunday, May 10 @ 1:05 p.m. (Gates 12:00 p.m.)

-Mother's Day at the Ballpark, with special Pettibones Grille Buffet.

-Bisons Players where Purple Hats, to support the American Cancer Society. Autographed purple hats from each Bisons player to be raffled off in the concourse.

-Principal Financial Family Fun Fest from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the Coca-Cola Field Plaza. Kids Inflatable Games and other entertainment for the whole family.

-A Family Fun Sunday, presented by Uncle Bob's Self Storage.

-Kids' games on the field before the game, presented by Wegmans. After the Bisons game, children are welcomed down the field for Kids Run the Bases, presented by Tim Hortons.

Monday, May 11 @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates 6:00 p.m.)

-Markdown Monday has the best values in town. Tickets are ONLY $7 for the game and concession stands will feature $1 popcorn and $1 ice cream specials. There will also be a special discounted merchandise table set up in the concourse.

Gwinnett Series (May 12-15)

Wednesday, May 13 @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates 6:00 p.m.)

-FREE Food Night, presented by Regent Broadcasting of Buffalo, in cooperation with Country 106.5 WYRK, 96.1 WJYE, 93.7 WBLK and 92.9 JACK FM, Coca-Cola Bottling of Buffalo, Zweigles, Midstate Bakery and Sara Lee/ButterKrust, Perry's Ice Cream and Sanarak Paper and Popcorn Supplies.

-ALL FANS will receive a tear-off card with up to $8.00 in FREE FOOD. Each card will have a coupon for one FREE meal item (either hot dog, hamburger, Italian sausage or kids PB&J uncrustable pouch), one FREE small popcorn and one FREE small ice cream sandwich.

-Unlimited Coca-Cola soft drink products throughout the game.

Thursday, May 14 @ 1:05 p.m. (Gates 12:00 p.m.)

-Business Person's Matinee Special.
