Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Mud Hens in the first game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (6:30 p.m.). Each team won two games in last week's series in Buffalo. This is the second stop for the Herd on their seven-game roadtrip having just taken two of three in Columbus.

vs. the Mud Hens

The Bisons are 2-2 against Toledo so far this season. After winning two of the first three matchups last week, Toledo defeated Buffalo to avoid their first series loss to the Bisons since 2011. This will be the final regular-season series of the year between the teams.

Andrew Albers

LHP ANDREW ALBERS will make his eighth start of the season. The southpaw's 2.34 ERA is 8th-best in the IL having thrown five quality starts this year. In his last outing against the Mud Hens, the hurler tossed seven innings of two-run baseball, picking up the W. Albers has given up just three total earned runs in his last three starts.

Jose Reyes

Blue Jays SS JOSE REYES will join the Bisons today on an MLB injury rehabilitation assignment. Reyes was placed on the disabled list on April 27 with a left rib fracture. The four-time MLB All-Star rehabbed for four games with the Bisons in 2013 as well, hitting .412 (7-17) with a double and an RBI.

Kevin Nolan

INF KEVIN NOLAN has hit in each of his five games he's played with the Herd this year. His first career Triple-A home run last night raised his average to .375 (6-16, 2 2B, HR) and sealed the win for Buffalo in the ninth. Nolan hit .327 (34-104) with 11 extra-base hits in 27 games for Double-A New Hampshire before yesterday's promotion.

Home Runs

Since breaking their 17-game home run drought on May 14, the Bisons have left the yard 10 times in their last seven games. That brings the team's total longball count to 17 on the season. Buffalo is 10-2 in games they've hit a home run this year.

Bisons Bits

Through 40 games, no Bisons pitcher has issued more than three walks in any one appearance...OF BRAD GLENN is 16 for his last 38, good for a .421 average...The Bisons are 15-1 when scoring first this year.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (18-24) lost to the Angels on Wednesday, 4-3. Former Bison Drew Hutchison worked 6.2 innings but was charged with the loss after giving up two runs in the seventh. Danny Valencia went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI. The Blue Jays take on the Angels again tonight at 7:07 p.m.
