Today's Games

Tonight the Bisons start their three-game series with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Coming off a series win against the Syracuse Mets, Buffalo will look earn a win from their divison rival IronPigs. The Herd will head to Syracuse for a four-game series before hitting the All-Star break.

Yesterday's Game: BUF 4, SYR 10

Buffalo could not finish out the series sweep of the Mets yesterday afternoon as their offense was quieted by Syracuse pitching. Their eight total hits were no match for the Mets 16 hit game, scoring ten runs. Rene Rivera carried the Syracuse offense hitting three home runs with four RBIs on the day. Bisons starter Conor Fisk went three-innings and was touched for nine hits, giving up seven earned runs.

Lehigh Valley IronPigs (6-7)

Buffalo and Lehigh Valley are meeting for the fifth time in 2019. The two teams will play one more series this season at the end of the month for a quick two game set in Lehigh Valley.

Today's Starter

LHP Ryan Feierabend will take the mound tonight, making his tenth start of the season for the Bisons. He currently carries a 4-3 record with a 6.23 ERA in 43.1 IP. His last start came on 6/26 against Sranton Wilkes- Barre as he threw five innings, giving up six hits and allowing seven to score. He will look for his fifth home win of the season tonight.

Bo Bichette

SS Bo Bichette led the Bisons in hits yesterday, finishing 3-4 and a walk. He also hit his ninth double of the season and came around to score off of Billy McKinney's home run in the fifth inning. This brings Bichette's average to .293 in his rookie Triple-A season.

Thomas Pannone

LHP Thomas Pannone was announced as the International League's Pitcher of the week for 6/24-6/30. The southpaw went 2-0 with a 1.64 ERA in his two starts last week, in 11.0 IP. Pannone collected 14 strike outs, while allowing just 2 ER as well.

Bisons Bits

With this recent hot streak the Bisons have been rolling through, the team now sits at 20-10 in the month. Billy McKinney's home run in yesterday's game, the Herd hit 37 team home runs in the month of June. This is the most hit in the month of June since 2006 where Buffalo hit 39.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (31-53) lost a close, one-run ball game yesterday against the visiting Kansas City Royals. Justin Smoak finsihed yesterdays game with three RBIs hitting his 14th home run of the season. Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman was recently named the All-Star representitive for Toronto, and will be making the first All-Star appearance of his career. Toronto will take on the Royals at 1:07 p.m. at Rogers Centre.
