
Bisons Fall to Memphis, 2-1, on Friday

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, were defeated by the Memphis Redbirds, 2-1, Friday afternoon from Port St. Lucie, FL.
The Bisons are now 0-1-1 in their 11-game exhibition schedule.
Long-time Bison Jason Cooper scored the Herd's only run. The outfielder was 1-2 on the day, scoring on a doubleplay off the bat of first baseman David Wabick. Outfielder Fernando Martinez finished the game 1-4 while third baseman Shawn Bowman was 2-3. Buffalo pounded out 12 hits in the loss.
On the mound, RHP Ryan Coultas, LHP Edward Camacho and RHP John Madden all pitched two innings of scoreless baseball.
