
Orioles Trim Spring Roster By Six

The Orioles today announced their second round of spring training roster cuts, releasing two players, optioning two players to Triple-A Norfolk and assigning two others to their minor league camp in Sarasota.
The Orioles released RHP Scott Chiasson and CA Guillermo Quiroz and have optioned OF Nolan Reimold and LHP Wilfrido Perez to Triple-A Norfolk. Chiasson was released by the Orioles so he could accept an offer to pitch in the Mexican League.
INF Brandon Snyder and INF Blake Davis have been reassigned to the minor league camp in Sarasota.
The moves leave the Orioles with 50 players in camp.
