Bisons Announce New Hires, Sheinis Joins Broadcasting Team

The Buffalo Bisons are pleased to announce the following hires for the 2010 season.

Justin Sheinis, a recent graduate of the University of Miami, joins the Bisons broadcasting team and will assist "The Voice of the Bisons" Ben Wagner and Duke McGuire on various broadcasts throughout the season.

Amanda Sarver and Tom Holmes have joined the Bisons sales team as Account Executives and Rachelle Osucha has become the Bisons' new Customer Care Coordinator. The Bisons also announced that Sara Bukas has been promoted to the team's Merchandising Coordinator.

Justin Sheinis - Radio Broadcaster

Born and raised in South Florida, Sheinis graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism. While at Miami, Sheinis worked for WVUM-FM as well as UMTV. His broadcast experience includes UM baseball, basketball, football and volleyball. He had the opportunity to travel to Omaha, NE to cover the Canes' 2008 College World Series appearance and has also covered ACC men's and women's basketball tournaments.

Sheinis joins the Bisons following a brief stint as a media relations assistant for the Florida Marlins.

Sara Bukas - Merchandising Coordinator

Bukas is entering her third season with the Bisons after working in 2008 and 2009 as a Merchandising Assistant. A graduate of Medaille College with a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management, Bukas is responsible for overseeing all Bisons gift shops and inventory, supervising the merchandise staff and purchasing the entire Bisons catalog. A native of Blasdell, NY, Bukas will also run the team's official online shop at Bisons.com.

Tom Holmes - Account Executive

In 2009, Holmes graduated from Ithaca College where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in sport management and business administration. This season will be his fourth in professional baseball, as he completed internships with the Bisons' Sales Department in 2007 and 2008, and worked in the Food & Beverage Department for the Batavia Muckdogs in 2009. In his return to the Bisons, Holmes will be responsible for sponsorship sales as well as season ticket, package, and group sales. Originally from Palmerton, PA, Holmes now resides in Kenmore, NY.

Amanda Sarver - Account Executive

As an account executive, Sarver will be responsible for season ticket, package and group sales as well as contributing to the team's overall sponsorship initiatives. Originally from Virginia, Sarver earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from James Madison University in 2008. She spent the 2009 season as a Marketing Research Assistant with the Baltimore Orioles. Previously, she was the Marketing Manager for a Servpro franchise in Chantilly, VA.

Rachelle Osucha - Customer Care Coordinator

In 2009, Osucha graduated from St. John Fisher College where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in sport management with a minor in communication/journalism. This season will be her fourth with the Bisons as she was previously a ticket sales associate. A native of Alden, NY, Osucha will be responsible for coordinating the Community Care Program as well as serving as an assistant to the Director of Ticket Operations.
