PENSACOLA, Flo. -The Biscuits (48-37) won a suspended game, 8-7 in 10 innings, and then lost game two of their six-game set, 7-2, against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (43-43) on Wednesday night at Blue Wahoos Stadium.

After Tuesday night's game was suspended at 7-7 after nine innings, the Biscuits got a sacrifice fly from Xavier Edwards in the top of the 10th and a scoreless inning of relief from Tanner Dodson to complete their largest comeback win of the season. The Biscuits were down 7-2 entering the ninth inning.

In the second game, which began a little under an hour after the completion of the suspended game, Max Meyer (6-1)was on the mound for the Wahoos, and the right-hander struck out two in a clean top of the first inning. Brendan McKay (0-2) was making his second rehab start for the Biscuits, and the left-hander allowed three solo homers to Peyton Burdick, Griffin Conine, and Lazaro Alonso to make it 3-0 Wahoos in the first inning.

Meyer set the Biscuits down in order in the second, picking up his third strikeout, and then McKay settled down and struck out a pair in a clean bottom of the second. After Meyer pitched a scoreless third, JJ Bleday launched the Wahoos' fourth solo home run off McKay to make it 4-0 Pensacola in the bottom of the third.

The Biscuits would finally crack Meyer in the top of the fourth thanks to an RBI-single by Ruben Cardenas and a sac fly by Niko Hulsizer to make it a 4-2 game. Meyer continued to keep the Biscuits off-balance, however, fanning his eighth and ninth batters in the bottom of the sixth.

The Wahoos would tag Mikey York for three runs in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a Jerar Encarnacion solo homer-the Wahoos fifth of the game-an RBI-double by Demetrius Sims, and an Adrian De Horta wild pitch to make it 7-2. Colby White impressed in his Double-A debut for the Biscuits, striking out two in a scoreless eighth inning.

The Biscuits will try to bounce back on Thursday when Jack Labosky (0-2) clashes with Zach McCambley (0-4) at 6:35 PM CT.
