
Binnington Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that sophomore goaltender Jordan Binnington has been named the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Monday, November 22, 2010.
The second year Attack netminder saw his first action of the week on Friday night in Sudbury we he stopped 27 of 28 shots in a 4-1 Attack win. On Saturday evening, Binnington replaced Scott Stajcer in goal and kicked aside all 18 shots he faced in relief.
In total, the 6'03 stopper went 1-0 with a 0.60 GAA and a save percentage of .978. Earlier in the week, Binnington was also named the top ranked OHL netminder by NHL Central Scouting for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
The Attack is back in action this Wednesday when they host Alex Galchenyuk and the Sarnia Sting at the Bayshore Community Centre. Game time is 7:00pm.
