BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (6-12, 41-46) fell behind in the eighth inning and dropped Friday night's contest to the Erie SeaWolves 5-2 at Mirabito Stadium. The series is tied 2-2 after the first four games.

The Ponies grabbed the lead in the fourth on a two-out two-run double from Branden Fryman that drove in Brandon McIlwain and Agustin Ruiz to make it 2-1.
In the sixth inning, Justice Bigbie hit a game-tying solo home run to make it 2-2.
In the eighth inning, Erie grabbed the lead again. The first four batters in the inning reached base and three runs scored. Trei Cruz walked, Bigbie singled, Wenceel Perez hit an RBI single, and Meyers hit a two-run double to make it 5-2. The score would stand.
