
Bighorns Record-Tying Night Leads to Win

RENO, NV - The Bighorns made history tonight, when Bighorns guard Dar Tucker tied the NBA Development League record for most points in a single game with 58 points. Tucker's record tying game pulled the Bighorns past the Texas Legends with a 161-127 victory Saturday night at the Reno Events Center.
Tucker led the Bighorns with 58 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Tucker finished the night going 20-35 from the field and 11-22 from the three-point line. Coby Karl dished out 26 points, tallied 15 assists and grabbed six rebounds. David Stockton had 21 points and 13 assists during the contest.
Mike James led the Texas Legends with 34 points and six assists. Eric Griffin netted 24 points for the Legends and totaled seven rebounds and four assists.
Tucker led the Bighorns in the first quarter with 13 points and three rebounds. Karl tallied 10 points and three assists in the quarter while Stockton had four rebounds and two assists.
The Bighorns heated up in the second quarter, scoring 53 points, compared to the Legends 33. Tucker had 16 points and four rebounds in the quarter while Stockton notched 10 points, three rebounds and three assists. Karl totaled 9 points and two assists in the second. The Bighorns shot 70.0% from the field in the quarter compared to the Legends 47.8%.
The Bighorns went into the locker room at the half leading the Legends 89-67. The Bighorns went 15-30 in the first half from behind the arc. Tucker netted 29 points during the first half in play.
The Bighorns kept the hot streak going into the third quarter outscoring the Legends 41-31 in the quarter. Tucker had 12 points in the quarter while Karl and Sim Bhullar had seven points each. Bhullar went 3-3 from the field in the quarter while tucker went 2-4 the three-point line.
Tucker had 17 points and four rebounds in the final quarter. Bhullar had seven points and five rebounds while Stockton notched five points and five assists in the fourth.
The Bighorns tallied 72 points during the second half in play, going 25-46 (54.3%) from the field.
The Bighorns return to the Reno Events Center Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. to face the Bakersfield Jam. The Bighorns will offer a $2 corner seat ticket special at the box office.
