Bighorns Acquire Tyrell Biggs from Canton

RENO, NV - Tyrell Biggs has been traded from Canton to Reno for Reno's 2014 second round draft. He was originally drafted by the Charge in the first round (15th overall) of the 2011 NBA Development League Draft.

In the three games that Biggs played with Canton, he averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Biggs has played professionally since 2009. Last season Tyrell played for Pieno Zvaigzdes in Lithuania and in the Baltic League. For Pieno Zvaigzdes he averaged 10.8 points on .590 shooting with 3.4 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game in 21 games. He also saw action in 15 games in the Baltic League and averaged 11.6 points on .602 shooting with 4.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 23.8 minutes per game.

Biggs played in 141 games (37 starts) during his four-year career at Pittsburgh. He averaged 4.3 points on .476 shooting and 2.9 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game, started all 36 games as a senior, averaging 6.4 points on .495 shooting, including .396 from three-point range, and 4.3 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game
