
Big Win for the Cats on Home Ice

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Wildcats got a much deserved win on home ice tonight against the Chicoutimi Sagueneens with a score of 5-3. Alex Salunier, tonight's second star, opened the scoring in the first period. The Sagueneens replied to make it 1-1 going into the second. The Sags continued the scoring with two more in the second. Gormley scored on the PP to make the game 3-2 going into the third, from then on it was all Moncton with three more goals from Alex Saulnier, Allain Saulnier & Erik Robichaud.
The Sagueneens were 1/3 on the PP while the Cats were 3/5. The Wildcats are 2nd in the league on the PP with a 30.6%. Attendance was 3271. Tonight's three stars were:
1. MON - 19 Allain Saulnier
2. MON - 21 Alex Saulnier
3. CHI - 23 Etienne Brodeur
This was the final game of the Pink in the Rink weekend. All people with bids on jerseys will be called and can pick them up tomorrow at the Wildcats Hockey Office. The Wildcats and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation greatly appreciate your support.
