
Big Weekend of Games with Specialty Jersey Night, Plus Police vs Fire

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans will host two big games this weekend against Wichita and Missouri, along with the 4th annual Police vs Fire Hockey Game on Saturday night.
On Friday night, the Allen Americans will wear specialty McDonald's jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately after the game. Plus a special appearance by Ronald McDonald himself, who will be on the concourse beginning at 6:00 pm doing a special magic show for the young fans in attendance.
Then on Saturday, it's the Allen Police vs Allen Fire Charity Hockey Game beginning at 5:05 pm, right before the Americans take on the Missouri Mavericks. Allen Fire Department holds a slight 2-1 edge in the series, with Allen Police winning last year. A twist has been added to this year's game with Eddy the Eagle Belfour being added to the Police roster, while Craig Ludwig will play with Allen Fire. Richard Matvichuk will coach Allen Fire Department while Steve Martinson will stand behind the bench for Allen Police. Proceeds from this Saturday's game go to help Special Olympics and Allen Public Safety Recovery Fund.
Don't miss the Allen Americans in action this Friday, March 1st against the Wichita Thunder at 7:05 pm, and Saturday, March 2nd against the Missouri Mavericks at 7:05 pm.
