The Kalamazoo Kings were back at home July 3rd to face the Richmond Roosters in what was a thrilling game. In front of a crowd of 2,493 Jason Biddlestone went 8 innings giving up no runs and striking out nine. The Kings needed the last at bat to win the game 1-0.
Chris Carter led off the ninth inning with a single, one of his two hits on the night, and Tory Haven hit a game winning double to center to score Carter. Keith Nawrocki got the win for the Kings and the loss was charged to Aaron Williams.
The Kings will be back in action tomorrow in a July 4th celebration. The game will start at 5:05 and the first 1,000 will receive American flags. After the game stay for the concert, Two P's and a Blond, and a fireworks display
